The high-parameter ball valve is also a high-pressure,large-caliber metal hard seal fixed ball valve,which is widely applied to coal chemical technology.When the ball valve is used in the coal chemical industry process,owing to the harsh working conditions,such as the medium pressure is high and often accompanied by some solid particles result in the serious wear of ball valve sealing surface,the long-term high pressure ball deformation,furthermore,result in the ball and valve seat separation,the increasing of opening of the sealing surface and the risk of leaking at any time.Because the medium in the general coal chemical industry process is often accompanied by corrosiveness,the ball valve cannot close the control medium flow in case of an emergency.If this happens,it will cause the project to stop and refurbishment,seriously,it will result in casualties and property losses,etc.In order to prevent accidents and eliminate unsafe factors,it is necessary to analyze high parameter ball valves.And there are two kinds of unsafe factors of ball valve,one is that the ball valve can't be opened properly,which can lead to the failure of accurate control of media flow,the second one is the separation of the contact surface of the ball and the valve seat,that is,when the sealing surface is open,the media will leak.In order to insure the high-parameter ball valve runs more safely and reliably,it can be studied from the above two sections.The primary reason that the ball valve cannot be opened and closed normally and the separation between the ball and the valve seat is the deformation of the ball,and the application of external force is an important factor that causes the deformation of the ball.It is very significant to study the deformation of the sphere.At the same time,this is also the main research work of this topic.Taking the Class 1500 NPS18 fixed ball valve as the research object,the components of the ball valve are modeled and assembled by PRO/E and ANSYS Workbench respectively,and the ball valve is simplified according to different working conditions;Through the study of the installation conditions,the installation peaks that lead to the deformation of the spheres were obtained,and the spheres were plastically deformed.The spheres were obtained by studying the working conditionsof the medium.The stress strain diagram of the ball and the seat,the pressure and opening of the sphere and the seat contact surface are obtained;Meanwhile,the spherical material and its radius are compared and optimized,it gets the best spherical material and the best radius.
