A large amount of exhaust gas will be discharged during the use of diesel engines.The emission of the exhaust contains a high concentration of particles,which will have adverse effects on the environment.Therefore,it is very important to study the capture technology of particulate matter in diesel exhaust and to influence the efficiency of particle collection.In order to determine the relationship between the influence factors and the influence factors,the following work has been done in this paper.(1)The wet electrostatic precipitator is designed by electrostatic adsorption kinetic analysis.And through the performance test to ensure the stable operation of the dust collector.(2)Through voltage regulation test,water mist electric field impact test,condensation test and ozone generation test,it is found that the negative pole power is easier to get dizzy,and the pole with awning is easier to get dizzy.When the voltage is raised,the condensation efficiency of the whole equipment is gradually rising.When the air volume and voltage are constant,the surface condensation efficiency of the anode tube will decrease when the amount of water mist is increased.When the air volume increases,the surface condensation efficiency of the anode tube decreases.(3)By WESP purification test of diesel particulate matter found that with the increase of the operating voltage,increasing the amount of spray after wet electrostatic precipitator on the particle capture efficiency is enhanced,and found the optimum condition the trial machine for air flow was 100m3/h and the voltage of 30KV,water volume 0.8Mpa.(4)Through the purification of particulate matter in diesel exhaust,it is found that the average electric field intensity and space charge density in wet electrostatic precipitator increase with the increase of working voltage,which significantly improves the trapping efficiency of dust particles.Increase the spray volume after wet electrostatic precipitator on particle capture efficiency improved significantly,this is because of the increase of charged droplets,improve the collision and adsorption between droplets and particles,enhance the effect of removal of fine particles.In this study,a prototype of a wet electrostatic precipitator was developed to remove particulate matter from 90 HP diesel engine.The best operating point appeared when the voltage was 30 kV,the water volume was 0.8 Mpa,and the air volume was 300m~3/h.The efficiency of purification is up to 97.2%.It shows that the equipment has good capture efficiency for the particulate matter produced by the diesel engine.
