With the improvement of mineral processing technology and recovery rate,the tailings size of tailings reservoir is more and more finer.The traditional upstream method is often faced with many problems such as difficult construction of dam,poor drainage of dam body and poor stability.The technology of tailings heap dam with the mold bag method is a new type of dam construction technology,which aims at the difficult problem of the upstream method of fi,ne tailings dam,which takes both the environmental and economic benefits into consideration.But so far,the research results of the fine tailings dam with bagged method are very few.This paper first introduces the technology of mold bag method,the application in the tailings reservoir,the research progress of the mold bag method,the method of the stability analysis of the tailings dam of the mold bag method;the strength reduction method and the vertical strip limit equilibrium meth,od based on the rigid body limit equilibrium method,the rigid body pressure slope limit equilibrium method and the horizontal strip limit equilibrium method.Th,en the ABAQUS software is used to refer to the actual geological data of the Xinjiang URU taash tailings dam,and the contact between the bag and the bag,the bag and the tailings is considered,and the rtwo-dimensional modeling is carried out.Static analysis of conventional upstream tailings dam and mould bag method tailings dam under different dam height and outer slope ratio is carried out,and the stress and strain of two kinds of dam construction methods are compared.Finally,it is concluded that:(1)under all working conditions,the stress and strain distribution laws of conventional upstream method and model bag method tailings dam are basically the same.The maximum horizontal displacement of the conventional uipstream method is on the downstream slope and the top of the slope;the maximum vertical displacement is at the height of 1/2 dam in the dam body,and the maximum principal stress and the minimum principal stress are banded,and the maximum value is located at the bottom of the dam.The maximum horizontal displacement of the tailings dam is distributed on dry beach,surface.The distribution law of vertical displacement,maximum principal stress and minimum principal stress is basically the same with the conventional upstream method.(2)under the same working condition,the vertical displacement,the maximum principal stress and the minimum principal stress of the bag method are much smaller than the conventional upstream method,and the maximum value is slightly smaller than that of the conventional upstream method.The horizontal displacement is larger than the conventional upstream method,but the distribution rule is different,so that the possibility of the method of cutting bag is less than that of the conventional upstream method on the downstream slope.(3)with the increase of dam height,the values of stress and strain of two kinds of tailings dams are increasing.As the downstream slope steepened,the horizontal displacement of the two tailing dams increased,the vertical displacement,the maximum principal stress and the minimum principal stress changed little,and the horizontal displacement of the bag method was slower than the conventional upstream method,which also reflected the reinforcement effect of the bag body to the tailings dam.Finally,using the rigid body limit equilibrium method and the strength reduction method respectively,the local stability analysis of the different high dam body is carried out.The conclusion is that with the increase of the height of the high dam body,the safety coefficient of the tailings dam of the mold bag method is improved relative to the conventional upstream tailings dam.When the height of the dam is low,the bag method is used.The tailings dam has a great effect on the stability of the dam.With the continuous elevation of the high dam body,the effect of the safety factor is gradually reduced compared with the conventional upstream method.This is because the bottom width of the bag is fixed to 42m.With the height of the dam,the proportion of the part of the bag is reduced relative to the whole dam,and the effect of the stability of the dam is increased if the dam body is less than the dam body.It is necessary to increase the width of the bag.
