Carbon fiber has the advantages of high strength,high modulus,good thermal conductivity and electrical conductivity.Natural latex is the emulsion of natural rubber,with good film formation and excellent performance.Natural rubber has good mechanical properties.Because of its lack of polar groups,its thermal conductivity and electrical conductivity are poor.Through the combination of carbon fiber and rubber to prepare rubber / fiber composites,the thermal conductivity,electrical conductivity and physical mechanical properties of rubber composites are improved.However,the carbon fiber surface is smooth,inert,and has poor adhesion with rubber,thereby reducing the properties of rubber composite.Therefore,it is necessary to take necessary measures to improve the interfacial adhesion between carbon fiber and rubber substrate.This paper used the natural rubber basic formula,on the basis of natural rubber,analyzing the modification mechanism of dopamine and silane coupling agent on carbon fiber;this paper studied the effects of carbon fiber addition,different concentration of dopamine and modification time,different silane coupling agents and addition amount on the properties of carbon fiber / rubber composites.By a variety of instruments characterized the mechanical properties,electrical conductivity,thermal conductivity,wet skid resistance,rolling resistance and the state of carbon fiber in the rubber matrix.The main work done in this article is as follows:(1)Studying the effect of carbon fiber addition on the properties of rubber composites.The experimental results showed that with the increase of carbon fiber addition,the properties of NR/CF composites increased first and then decreased,the electrical conductivity and thermal conductivity of the composites increased gradually,and the rolling resistance of the rubber samples decreased gradually,and the mechanical properties were the best when adding 3phr CF.(2)Studying the effect of dopamine on the properties of rubber composites by adding 3phr carbon fiber,dopamine solution concentration and the time of modified carbon fiber.The experimental results showed that the NRL/CF composite material prepared with modified dopamine solution concentration of 1.5g/L and modified carbon fiber 6h had the best performance.The tensile strength increased by 10.6%compared with the unmodified sample,and the thermal conductivity and conductivity slightly increased,and the rolling resistance of the rubber sample was also reduced.(3)Studying the effect of silane coupling agent on the properties of rubber composites by adding 3phr carbon fiber,adding different silane coupling agents and addition.The experimental results showed that when adding the 1.5phr KH-560 modified carbon fiber,the NRL/CF composite material had the best performance.The tensile strength was increased by 9.7% compared with the unmodified sample,and the Payne effect of the carbon fiber in the rubber matrix was also reduced,and the wet skid resistance of the rubber specimen was improved.(4)Adding 3phr carbon fiber through dopamine and KH-560 modified to improve the properties of rubber composites.The experimental results showed that when the carbon fiber was modified by dopamine and KH-560,a good interface phase was generated.The tensile strength was 14.3% higher than that of the unmodified sample,the thermal conductivity was increased by 12.5%,and the wet skid resistance of the sample was slightly improved.In summary,NRL/CF composites were prepared by natural latex through the modified carbon fibers of dopamine and KH-560.The mechanical properties of the composites were significantly higher than that of the unmodified carbon fibers,and the interface bonding between the carbon fiber and the rubber matrix was improved,and the conductivity and the heat conductivity were slightly improved.
