Microwave vulcanization is a new type of rubber vulcanization.It cures faster and more efficiently.It is of great practical significance to study various electromagnetic parameters(the real part of permittivity,loss factor and loss tangent)of plastics under microwave vulcanization.Only a few scholars at home and abroad have studied the electromagnetic properties of rubber in microwave heating.In this paper,the electromagnetic parameters of rubber have been studied in the following three aspects:(1)The parameters of the electromagnetic properties at different frequencies and temperatures,the real part and the imaginary part of the complex permittivity,and loss tangent were studied for five kinds of rubber compounds,tread rubber,shoulder rubber,sidewall soft rubber,belt rubber,and apex rubber,the results show that the complex dielectric constant of the five kinds of complex permittivity real part,imaginary part and dielectric loss tangent values with temperature dependence,all in accordance with the fourth-order polynomial function changes The value of the electromagnetic performance parameter changes with the temperature,but with the different types of rubber,it is also affected by the frequency,and the electromagnetic performance parameter is a function of temperature and frequency.Therefore,the ability of the compound to store electrical energy and the ability to convert microwave energy into thermal energy increases with the increase in temperature during the vulcanization process and the frequency of the electromagnetic wave within the cavity becomes more complex.(2)Through the use of X-ray diffraction,infrared spectroscopy,scanning electron microscopy and other techniques at different temperatures in the rubber compound,the structural evolution of the rubber compound in the microwave heating process was analyzed,and the mechanism of the dielectric properties under different conditions was revealed from the microscopic point of view.Microwave effect.The composition of the rubber compound has different effects on the structure of the vulcanizate produced,thereby affecting the dielectric properties of the compound.For the same kind of rubber,the microwave heating temperature will cause a significant change in the rubber structure.The generation and disappearance of the material in the microwave heating process also play a different role in the ability of the rubber to absorb microwaves.(3)Experimental determination based on electromagnetic performance parameters and thermal properties parameters,by means of numerical simulation,the effect of frequency on the microwave vulcanization temperature field was investigated.After simulated heating of a certain size tire,it was found that the number of dielectric parameters of the material affects the temperature of the temperature field in the tire model.After simulated heating at different frequencies,the distribution of the highest and lowest temperatures in the model is different.Through the combined simulation of the frequency,the temperature distribution of the tire model can be more uniform and the temperature difference can be reduced.At the same time,the temperature distribution in the simulation can be evenly distributed by appropriately reducing the power.
