With the digital earth,digital oil field and big data macro concepts put forward,the Spatial database,geographic information technology,object-oriented data model,3D modeling and visualization technology have been widely used and developed in the digital oil field.The virtual 3D GIS can be combined with the construction of digital oilfield.Building a threedimensional dynamic visualization software platform using digital elevation model,remote sensing images,as well as the spatial data of oil exploration,development and production,which includes all kinds of related oil field informations above and below ground,has an important application value and practical significance.In this paper,aboveground and underground oil field related information were consolidated;various types of data formats were analyzed and parsed;3D models of onground features,surface and underground objects were build;3D models have been integrated,and display efficiency was optimized;an oil field 2D and 3D geographic information modeling and visualization system was realized based on OSG and MFC technology.The main contents include:(1)Oil field 2D and 3D modeling involved data were sorted and classified,and various types of data were parsed.(2)Coordinate systems of features,DEM,reservoirs and other various types of data model were studied;the conversion issue of 3D modeling Coordinate systems and computer display Coordinate systems was studied based on OSG technology.(3)Three-dimensional modeling and visualization rendering of different types of data were studied;CSG + TIN + hexahedral mixed model was used to integrated modeling,unified data structures and interfaces of integration model was designed.Organization and planning of OSG 3D scene and the display control of the model and the layers were Realized.(4)Three-dimensional reservoir model is displayed more optimized.The reservoir grid model was further blanked to improve the display efficiency;A three-dimensional mesh smoothing method based on neighborhood grid force was proposed to improve the threedimensional mesh model description accuracy.(5)For the function of horizontal wells to optimize the design,we studied the option of the wellhead position based on terrain models and onground constraints.The optimal design of the horizontal section well spacing area by genetic algorithm was studied.(6)Oil field 2D and 3D geographic information modeling and visualization software platform was realized,using MFC,OSG and VC ++ language.3D roaming,flying reconnaissance and other major functions was realized.Through system testing,oil field 2 D and 3D geographic information modeling can truly reflect the actual state on the ground and underground.3D dynamic display,interaction and other related functions are practical,which are able to provide decision support and technical services for oil field exploration,development and actual production.The results so far have been used in the domestic design optimization of compact reservoir horizontal well site,and received a good practical effect.
