CO2 is recognized as one of the main components of greenhouse gases.Therefore,it is a major challenge for people to solve environmental problems by reducing the concentration of CO2 in the atmosphere.Electrochemical conversion of CO2 into small organic molecules with high energy density is an ideal way to solve energy and environmental problems.However,the traditional CO2 electrocatalyst has some disadvantages,such as low energy efficiency and poor selectivity.In order to solve the above problems,the CuS nanoscale catalyst was prepared and the electrical reduction performance of CO2 was characterized.The contents of the research are as follows:The CuS nanoscale arrays were grown on the nickel foam framework surface by using hydrothermal method and vulcanization method,and then the electrochemical characterization of the samples was carried out.It is found that the sample has a high selectivity for the product methane,the Faradaic efficiency of the methane reaches 73%±5,the Tafel slope is 57 mV dec-1,and it remains stable after 60 h reaction.It is also proved that the morphology of the sample has a great effect on the electrical reduction performance of CO2.
