Preparation And Properties Of Coated Plexiglass Protective Coatings

Coated perspex is the surface coated with an ITO of perspex,the coating increases the attenuation of the microwave of the plexiglass.In order to avoid scratching and contamination of the coated perspex in handling and assembly process,this study prepared a water-based polyurethane peelable coating,the coating is applied to the surface of coated perspex,and has a certain hardness after curing,does not pollute the perspex and can effectively protect the coated perspex,the coating has a good peelability,no impact on the performance of coated perspex.First of all,we synthesize a self-emulsifying water-based polyurethane,and then using the material as a film-forming base to prepare a water-based polyurethane peelable coating.Finally,the coating is applied to the coated perspex to verify the suitability.conclusion as below.First,synthesis of aqueous polyurethane emulsion.The results show that the content of IPDI is controlled at 16.5%,the content of PPG-1000 is controlled at 17%,the content of DMPA is 3%,the content of BDO is 1%,the content of TEA is 2%,the content of water is controlled at 60%,The reaction temperature T₁ is 85?,the reaction time is 2 h?t₁?,the reaction time is controlled at 2 h?t₂?after the addition of DMPA and BDO,and the reaction temperature T₂ is controlled at 50?emulsified water-based polyurethane is water-resistant and heat-resistant,with a storage time of up to 60 days.However,the coating has poor peelability and peel strength of up to 1kN/m.Second,preparation of water-borne polyurethane peelable coating.The results show that the storage time of coating increases with the increase of the viscosity average molecular weight of the aqueous polyurethane.The content of SiO₂ in the coating increases with the increase of the content of water-soluble silicone oil and the peel strength decreased,The content of curing agent in coating has a great influence on the drying time,pencil hardness and tensile strength.When the content of SiO₂ in coating is 1.5%,the content of water-soluble silicone oil is 1%,the content of water is40%and the content of curing agent is 6%,the coating the best,and the peeling strength of coating is reduced to 180 N/m.Third,peelable coating on the impact of coated perspex.Infrared analysis conclud that the coatings are peeled off after 0,30,90 and 180 days,the surface roughness of the coated perspex remain almost unchanged,and there is no change in the infrared spectrum of the coating under peeled off.The surface of the coating peeled from the coated perspex has C,O,N,Si element,and has no In,Sn,after0,30,90,180 days,The transmittance of the coated perspex light transmittance is basically unchanged,the haze range of variation is 0.2%⁰.5%,the optical properties are basically unchanged.In short,this experiment has obtained an environment-friendly water-based strippable coating that can effectively protect the coated perspex.
