Research On Extraction And Application Performance Of Essential Oil From Platycladus Orientalis

Platycladus orientalis（L.）Franco is a Chinese specialty,which is widely distributed in China.In recent years,essential oil from Platycladus orientalis have become a hot research topic,especially on the application in food and cosmetics.In this paper,Platycladus orientalis was systematically studied:The essential oil of Platycladus orientalis was extracted by supercritical CO₂ extraction,and analyzed by GC-MS;At the same time,we studied the differences of physical and chemical properties of essential oils in different ages of the Platycladus orientalis,and then analyzed the important influence of age;Finally,the antibacterial properties of essential oil of Platycladus orientalis were analyzed and studied,and the application performance was analyzed by its safety and efficacy evaluation.The results are as follows:1.Single factor experiments and orthogonal analysis experiments were carried out the optimum extraction conditions for the extraction of essential oil from Platycladus orientalis under supercritical CO₂:extraction pressure was 20MPa、extraction time was 65min、extraction temperature was 50℃.Under the optimum conditions,the extraction rate was7.67%.The Platycladus orientalis oil is brown viscous liquid,with a fruity aroma cypress.2.GC-MS method was used to analyze the essential oil of Platycladus orientalis,and the main components was obtained.The Platycladus orientalis essential oil can be separated and identified 19 components,accounting for 79.04%of oil ratio.The main components of essential oil are:thujopsene（27.63%）,thujopsene cedrol（18.54%）,cuparene（5.04%）.3.Under the optimum conditions,analyze the difference between three different ages of Platycladus orientalis essential oil.The extraction rate of the older Platycladus orientalis can reach 9.98%,only 6.10%of the younger one The older Platycladus orientalis essential oil was deepest,most rich aromas cypress,but the younger one was lightest,with irritating head fragrance,and miscellaneous flavor.The oldest Platycladus orientalis essential oil can be identified 23 components,accounting for 98.74%of the oil.The main components of it:thujopsene（53.01%）,thujopsene cedrol（22.63%）,cuparene（7.47%）.From the difference between the three conclusion is that the older Platycladus orientalis essential oil contains more ingredients,better physical properties of essential oils can be used,the higher the value of.4.The minimum inhibitory concentration of three kinds of Platycladus orientalis essential oils on four common bacteria were measured（MIC）.The oldest Platycladus orientalis essential oil can be found the lowest MIC,which can reach 0.05 mg/ml,indicating that the oil has antibacterial properties significantly.5.To study the practical application of essential oil of Platycladus orientalis.The application value of Platycladus orientalis essential oil was illustrated from two aspects of safety evaluation and efficacy evaluation.The results showed that the essential oil of Platycladus orientalis has no irritation to the skin,also has significant anti-inflammatory and analgesic function.According to the efficacy of Platycladus orientalis essential oils,illustrates the essential oil of Platycladus orientalis with a broad application prospect in the field.
