With the agingpopulation increased,the health problems of the old people get attention of the society.Falling is an important factor which influences the health of the old people.Falling will not only cause the old people to hurt or cause disease,but also directly lead to death.When the old people fall,they should be found and treated in time.It will reduce the damage caused by the old people,reduce unnecessary losses.Shoes are the daily necessities of the old people.Therefore,it is important to design a falling detection device placed in the shoe.When the human body falls,the body's acceleration of physical quantity will change greatly.According to the above theory,this paper presents a falling detection device based on Arduino101 development board.The core of the Arduino 101development board is Intel CurieTM.It uses neural network modules and motion sensors to obtain data.The trained characteristic parameters which get from the falling detection algorithm of RBF neural network based on machine learning are used to implant to the wearable detection equipment,so as to realize the real-time monitoring the falling.The system is equipped with GPS module and GSM/GPRS module.When the people falls,it can send the information and location to the family mobile phone or hospital.It also can be noticed through the buzzer to the outside world for help.Experiments show that the system is feasible and the accuracy is high.
