The "Materiality·Immateriality" Theme Generalization Practice Of Jianyu's Li Pipa Instrument Production Techniques

Nanyin is one of the most ancient forms of music performance in China.The words the tune of Nanyin are elegant,beautiful,and have deep meaning and primitive simplicity.It is and has been popular in southern Fujian,Hong Kong,Macao and Taiwan and southeast Asia.In 2009,Nanyin received the title of intangible cultural heritage at the World Level.Since the success of the application for the world heritage,and based on the hard work of Nanyin related employees,Nanyin is gradually becoming known by a broader group of people.Nanyin instruments consist of "shang si guan" and "xia si guan".The Nanyin Pipa,which is analogous to a "commander” of the Nanyin instruments,has a pivotal position among the others.To uncover the traditional Nanyin instrument production techniques,there is a research project based on the productive environment of Pipa to take a close look at specific Pipa production techniques and its spirit world instrument maker Li Jianyu,who noted the "little guy" property.The point of research is to study the cultural potential value from the combination of "humanity","materiality" and "immateriality".Several methods such as video,presentation,and product design,etc,exist to extend Li Jianyu's Pipa production techniques,and explain the relationship between and the development of traditional production techniques and industrialization.Therefore,the diversity of the “material” concept of Pipa can be used to attract audiences' attention to instrument production techniques.Based on this previous context to considering promotion strategy of the traditional craft,this strategy can be used to encourage government and non-material cultural management agencies or related agencies to decide and publish policy for protecting instrument making crafts,furthermore promoting the theoretic thinking of inheritance and spreading Pipa making technique.
