With Karamay atmospheric residue(KAR),Merey atmospheric residue(MRAR)and coal tar(CT)as raw material in this thesis,the hydrocracking law and coking character of residue mixing CT had been contrasted with residue or coal tar.In order to reveal the differences of hydrocracking law and coking character between mixing system and single system,the asphaltene and toluene insoluble material was studied by elemental analysis,FT-IR,~1H-NMR and SEM.The result showed that asphaltene and toluene insoluble material,which could react to lighter fractions,had higher content in CT.The asphaltene with a lower condensation degree reacted to lighter fractions easily,but the asphaltene with a higher condensation degree was difficult to reaction.So,with the raise of reaction temperature,the coking yield of CT had no change obviously and almost no coke on the surface of the reactor in the hydrocracking of slurry-bed.But the coking yield of residue increased visibly with the raise of reaction temperature,and the coking yield on surface of the reactor raised sharply when the reaction temperature over 430?.The coke yield on surface of the reactor of mixing system was lower,but the influence of process parameters were similar to those on residue.When the mixed ratio was 9:1,the most remarkable hydrogenation temperature of mixing system was identical with residue,but the total coke yield and wall-coke yield were lower.The total coke yield of system 1 was reduced,and then increased,as the mixing ratio added,but the total coke yield of system 2 was sustainable increased,which accelerated the inactivation of catalysts in system 2.The coking character was difference between the two mixing system.The asphaltene,which had a higher content in MRAR,made the system 2 had a higher coke yield for the difference of surface properties of asphaltene with CT,so MRAR didn't suit mixing with CT.The coke yield of system 1 was lower and the particle size of the coke was equable because KAR had a better compatibility with CT and little asphaltene in KAR,making system 1 had better hydrocracking.The coke in hydrocracking products,didn't come from the asphaltene and toluene insoluble material of CT,although CT had a high content of polar fractions,but from the asphaltene of residue.
