In practical application of metal materials,corrosion problems are inevitable.How to effectively inhibit the corrosion of metal is a hot topic in current research.Applying a layer of corrosion inhibitor film on the metal surface by Self-assembly technology is an effective way to inhibit the corrosion of metals.Self-assembed monolayers(SAMs)are formed through spontaneous chemisorption of active molecules onto solid surface,it can isolate the corrosion environment to protect the metals.The aim of this paper is to find a fast and effective method to reduce the corrosion of metals.This paper is mainly divided into three parts: Synthesis and characterization of oleic imidazoline,Preparation and performance evaluation of SAMs and the assembly mechanism of oleic imidazoline.The surface active agent we used in the experiment is oleic imidazoline.First of all,through the optimization of synthesis temperature,time and ratio of raw materials,high purity oleic acid imidazoline is obtained,and then characterized by FTIR.Second,we use dip method and aerosol method to prepare SAMs,then evaluate and characterize the layers by electrochemical,XPS and SEM methods.In addition,we also study the film formed by cycles of deposition.Finally,we analysis and comparison the performance of two kinds of SAMs,and study the adsorption mechanism of oleic imidazoline.Experimental results show that we successfully synthesized high purity oleic imidazoline.Electrochemical performance evaluation showed that in 45℃ the film formed by the two kinds of self-assembled technology are both complete.The dip method have a fast adsorption rate in the initial stage,in contrast to the following.The aerosol method SAMS will be stable within 20 min.Cycles of deposition can improve the corrosion inhibition efficiency significantly.The film formed by dip method is more complete,and the film formed by aerosol method is more rapidly within 20 min.
