The natural gas desulfurization facilities in Middle East are established to meet the requirements of exploiting associated gas in local oil field.With the increasement of annual exploitation of the oil field,the amounts of feed gas sources are larger and working conditions of the facilities have changed.In order to ensure the facilities running smoothly,sweet gas meeting the pipeline specification and sour gas meeting the requirement of sulfur recovery unit in downstream,adjusting operation parameters according to the changeable conditions of facilities has to be done in time.Based on the process and related parameters of the natural gas desulfurization facilities in Middle East,ProTreat software is used to carry out the model of desulfurization process in this paper.In order to analyze the adaptability of the facilities,different cases with various sour gas contents in feed gas,feed gas flow rates,temperatures and pressures are simulated to determine the treating capacity of the facilities under original design parameters.Through sensitivity analysis of the operation parameters which effect sweetening process,amine circulation rate and absorber tray number are determined as the key parameters.On this basis,50 cases with single factor changes are simulated and correspondingly the recommended value of appropriate amine circulation rate is given out to each case.On the basis of response surface method,the Box Behnken design method and Design Expert software are used to model and analyze the facilities with multiple factors change.The relationship between the H2 S content in feed gas,CO2 content in feed gas,feed gas flow rate,absorber tray number and amine circulation rate,reboiler duty is respectively established.According to the regression model,contour figures and three dimensional figures,when multiple factors change at the same time,the appropriate absorber tray number and amine circulation rate can be determined to make sweet gas meet pipeline specification.By reasonably changing the running scheme of facilities,it can effectively reduce the reboiler duty and save energy consumption.
