The Research Of Shale Mechanical Properties And The Analysis Of Well Stability

Shale gas play an important role in the field of energy,ZhaoTong region is one of the key areas of shale gas development,undertaken the experimental study of the physical and chemical characteristics of the shale reservoirs has an important practical significance.In this paper,we choose the Longmaxi shale cores that comes from ZhaoTong region to do the rock mechanical properties tests and acoustic tests and get a clear understanding of the rock properties,the shale which comes from ZhaoTong region has the characteristics of high brittleness,high strength,weak heterogeneity and weak water absorption.In this paper,a detailed parameter sensitivity analysis has been done,based on the understanding of the rock characteristics and the well stability analysis model,we can get the most suitable wellbore stability analysis model.By combining the optimization well stability model with the measurement results of laboratory experiments,we calculated the transverse isotropic elastic parameters,geo stress,collapse pressure and fracture pressure of this region,optimized the horizontal section drilling position,the results showed that the optimal horizontal orientation has a smaller deviation from the minimum principal stress orientation,the calculation results has a certain reference value.
