Abstract/Summary:
The deep buried fracture-cavity carbonate reservoir in Hanilcatam oilfield are characterized by strong heterogeneity, complicated diagenesis and oil-water relationship, single data is likely to have only limited effect in reservoir type identification.Based on the scientific research on karst, this paper is closely combining theory with practice, aiming at those fundamental problems in the process of production in Hanilcatam oil-field,and applying the basic data(such as logging, seismic analyses, core data and well testing data)as well as multi-disciplinary approach(such as reservoir geology, logging geology, reservoir geophysics, reservoir engineering, well test analysis)to identify reservoir types. It first analyzes the reservoir characteristics through core observation and microscopic thin section analysis, and classifies reservoir into three types cave,fractured-cavern and fractured reservoir according to its spatial distribution. It is dominated by the first two types. The response characteristics of different reservoir type on logging and seismic are also analyzed. Moreover, this paper sets the critical value of cave and fractured-cavern reservoir at 5.2% using porosity of inversion and logging.Next, the response characteristics of production, build up test and acid fracturing is analyzed and discussed, and why it would therefore draw conclusions that cave reservoir is high productivity, slow declining and long water free production period compared with fractured-cavern reservoir. And furthermore,it makes a standard of different reservoir type which can be adapted to this area.At last, the unconformity, sedimentary facies and fault system are the dominating factors controlling reservoir distribution determined by analyses above all.
