| Potato cleaner was an indispensable equipment in the deep processing of potato starch and protein extraction.At present,potato cleaning was mainly accomplished by hand mixing on the production lines of potato starch and protein extraction in domestic.Cleaning equipment was used on part of production lines,but there were unclear potato,epidermis injury,which cause deterioration and decay of the potato.In short,the unfavourable factors have reduced the production efficiency,increased labor costs.and restricted improvement of the production capacity and the quality of extracted starch and protein.According to the shortcomings of the existing roller type potato cleaning machine,a new potato cleaning machine was developed based on the production capacity,the requirements of processing quality and the technological requirements on the processing line.The device was combined by the rack and the cleaning roller,the fences and the dehydration devices and so on.The strength of the key parts of the potato cleaning machine was analyzed to ensure the cleaning efficiency,the cleaning rate and the damage rate indicatorsThe simulation model of the potato cleaner was established by using Solidwork,numerical simulation was conducted in EDEM software to study the flow status of potatoes in the washing machine at different cleaning roller speeds,and analyzed the change law of the number and collision of potato blocks.the appropriate operating parameters was determined,to lay a foundation of the parameter optimization of the whole machine structure and working.Under the premise of satisfying the production capacity of the potato starch processing line,the effects of different factors on the cleaning quality and energy consumption of the squirrel cage potato cleaning machine were studied by method of single factor experiment,through single-factor tests,on the basis,The cleaning test on the washing machine was processed based on the response surface center combined design theory,by Design Expert8.0.5 software,the optimum process parameters of the potato cleaning machine were: cleaning roller rotation speed 119r·min,cleaning machine overall inclination angle 18.5°,cleaning roller and fence spacing 4.6mm,in this process Under the parameters,the power consumption of the washing machine was 1.66 kw·h,the washing rate of the potato washing machine was 94.95%,and the potato washing machine injury rate was 2.58%.Its relative error of testing and theoretic values were 2.9%,2.1%,and 4.2%,respectively.Through the process test,the reliability of the test data was verified,which provided the basis for the actual production process. |
