Nuclear energy occupies an important place in the world energy structure and has obvious advantages over thermal power generation.Thorium-based molten salt reactor?TMSR?is a typical reactor type in the fourth generation.Thorium and uranium are main elements of liquid nuclear fuel and are also important components of molten salt reactor reprocessing,including spent fuel separation and solidification storage processes.For thorium-uranium chemical research is throughout the system of thorium-based molten salt reactor nuclear energy system.Now,the form of existence in various processes,the formation of the molecular structure,the coordination environment of thorium,uranium and their fission products are not completely clear.The coordination chemistry of thorium-uranium and their fission products is of great significance for the research and development of thorium-based molten salt heap.This article starts from coordination chemistry.We synthesized a series of model compounds of thorium,uranium and their fission products by solvothermal or hydrothermal method.And we characterized them by X-Ray single-crystal diffraction,infrared spectroscopy,synchrotron radiation X-ray absorption spectroscopy,thermogravimetric analysis and other means to acquire a deep study of their molecular structure and a profound understanding of the nature and electronic structure of complexes of uranium,thorium and their fission products.We hope our work can provide the basis for uranium and thorium chemical research of liquid molten salt reactor.The main contents of this paper are:?1?A series of thorium-selenate complexes obtained by hydrothermal reaction of thorium nitrate and selenate containing long-lived fission product Se.The product is related to[H2SeO4]/[Th?IV?]ratio and temperature;?2?A series of lanthanides,thorium,yttrium,selenate and iodate complexes were synthesized by hydrothermal method and characterized.A series of complexes of lanthanides elements showed some regular changes,and were characterized and tested;?3?A new crystal[Th?MoO4??H2O?4Cl]Cl?H2O with ion-exchanged nature and containing the cation framework was synthesized using Th?NO3?4·5H2O?MoO3 and concentrated hydrochloric acid under hydrothermal conditions and characterized?4?UO2?CH3COO?2·2H2O,zinc amalgam and1,2-ethanedisulfonic acid were used to synthesize a novel U?IV?hexamer-containing complex.It has been characterized.
