In this paper,through literature research and experimental research to develop a suitable for reducing water loss of modified alumina cement system.Based on all kinds of conventional silicate cement with loss of water and drilling fluid with fluid loss agent selection,evaluation of selected three kinds of monomer:2-acrylamide-2-methyl propane sulfonic acid(AMPS),N,N-dimethyl acrylamide(DMAA),acrylic acid(AA),innovative introduction of BaCl2 chelating agent,ammonium persulfate-system of sodium bisulfite as initiator,by solution polymerization to synthesize the BaAMPS/DMAA/AA reduced water loss,called BaADA.Through the orthogonal experiment design and single factor method analysis,determine the best reaction BaADA polymer synthesis conditions:reaction temperature is 70℃,initiator amount was 0.25%,total monomer concentration was 25%,the synthesis reaction time is 4 h,monomer ratio,the optimal ratio of AMPS:DMAA:AA:BaCl2=75:22:3:40.By infrared spectroscopy and thermogravimetric analysis had been used to characterize the nature of the polymer itself.BaADA drop water quantity of 2%,can be controlled below 50 mL/30 min API fluid loss,it has a certain temperature tolerance,synthesis of water loss of slurry has certain retarding action,and of a smaller effect on the compressive strength of cement stone has better retrogradation,basically meet the construction requirements.Preliminary reveals the drop water loss mechanism of modified alumina cement system,in order to further study the application of modified alumina cement has laid a solid foundation.
