During the developmental process of a gas reservoir,if the down hole well liquid cannot be evacuated on time,it will accumulate at the well's down hole which can lead to well loading.An increase in this loading phenomenon can cause liquid flooding inside the well thereby stopping well production.Therefore,timely and accurate determination of the critical gas-liquid flow or velocity prediction in advance,have a very important significant on extending the period of no liquid production during gas production and also improve the recovery ratio of the reservoir.Nowadays,the Turner model is mainly used on-site for the calculation of the critical carrying liquid flow(velocity),but this also have limits to its usage.This paper analyzed the mechanism of liquid loading in the well;also,it introduces some model of calculation of the critical carrying liquid flow(velocity).Furthermore,analyses of each model of calculation and the conditions of their utilizations are made.In conclusion,advantages and defects of these models are analyzed and employed in dynamic mine analysis of temporary production,also it shows a reduction in secondary damage wells and an improvement in well recovery to provide a very important basis for on-site gas drainage technology selection.
