The Study On The Crude Oil Evaluation

Along with our country crude oil foreign dependence increasing year by year,imported crude oil has been an important part of the crude oil processing in Chinese refineries,so accurately assess the value of crude oil processing is significant for Chinese refinery enterprises in reducing costs and improving the production efficiency.Crude oil evaluation method is concluded from crude oil classification method,the crude oil break-even price method and the crude oil variety chosen method,and is based on the value evaluation model of crude oil.we need to divide the crude oils into several categories and aim to evaluate incremental value of crude oil.Assessing six benchmark oil including the heavy sour crude oil,intermediate crude oil with low sulfur,intermediate crude oil with sulfur,intermediate sour crude oil,light crude with sulfur and light crude oil with low sulfur,we find out the valuable difference between two kinds of crude oil.Firstly,making intermediate crude oil with sulfur Saudi crude as reference,calculate the valuable difference of intermediate crude oil with sulfur Oman crude,heavy sour crude oil Kuwait crude,intermediate sour crude oil Dubai crude,intermediate crude oil with low sulfur Nigeria crude,light crude with sulfur Russia crude and light crude oil with low sulfur Saharan crude,and the results are 23 yuan per ton,-369 yuan per ton,-47 yuan per ton,81 yuan per ton,104 yuan per ton and 155 yuan per ton.It turned out to be that valuable difference gained by crude oil evaluation method has stability and the valuable difference between different kinds of crude oil is significantly greater than that of the same kind of crude oil.The valuable difference of crude oil with inferior to high quality renders increasing regularity,showing that crude oil evaluation method can effectively reflect the difference of properties of crude oil.Crude oil evaluation method can also evaluate the most profitable processing route for different 4 crude oils: ratio of diesel to gasoline of Kuwait crude is lowest,about 86.7%,and refinery products is 90.8 percent higher than that of chemical products,so Kuwait crude is suitable for refinery which mainly processes heavy oil for fuel;The catalytic cracking unit and hydrogenation unit feed rate of Saharan crude oil,is only 59.8% and 16.2% of Kuwait crude oil,and chemical products have highest yield,which can be 12.4%,10.5% higher than Kuwait crude oil,so the Saharan crude oil is suitable for fuel chemical refinery;Saudi crude can produce 10% and 24% more diesel with low freezing point than Saharan crude oil and Kuwait crude oil respectively,therefore,suggest that the Saudi crude should be introduced into fuel chemical refineries,especially ones with demand of low-freezing diesel oil in north;products of Oman crude oil are similar to those of Saudi crude,but with larger amount of chemical products and high grade gas.Forecast prices and refinery processing forecast profits for Russian crude can be calculated by Crude oil evaluation method are 2066 yuan per ton and 959 yuan per ton,with 3% error compared with the statistics from Petrochina enterprise,so this crude oil evaluation method has guiding significance for imported crude oil.Crude oil evaluation method can be effectively applied in analyzing the difference of crude oil properties,forecasting the he most profitable processing route,estimating the price of crude oil and profits for refinery,which is referring to refinery enterprise in choosing imported crude oil and crude oil processing.
