| The Man type gas holder plays a crucial role in keeping the balance of the generation and consumption of secondary energy sources.It also can balance the pressure of the gas pipe network.Therefore,the Man type gas holder has been widely used in steel plants and chemical plants at home and abroad.However,the problem of leaking sealing oil affects the normal operation of the gas holder.Therefore,it is very important to study the welding residual stress at the welds of the column and side plates to ensure the long-term stable operation of the gas holder.In this paper,ANSYS software is used for welding simulation of failure parts and its flexural reinforcement structure with the indirect thermo-structure coupling method.First,load the heat source in the form of the endogenous heat rate and the element birth and death technology is used to realize the movement of the heat source,and the distribution of welding temperature field is obtained.Second,the distribution of welding residual stress field is obtained.It is found that the local Mises stress in the weld area exceeds the yield limit of the material,and the longitudinal residual stress is relatively large.Therefore,welding residual stress is one of the main reasons for the local failure of the Man gas holder.Finally,the welding process of the weldment with the flexible reinforcement structure is simulated,to get the stress field distributions of the weldment containing the flexible reinforcement structures with the same chord length and different radius curvature.It is found that the flexible reinforcement structure can effectively reduce the welding residual stress and the effect of flexible reinforcement is significant,and a reasonable radius of curvature is obtained by comparison.The analysis shows that the flexural reinforcement structure can be used as an effective method to solve the problem of leaking sealing oil. |
