Octogen?HMX?is a high energy and comprehensive properties explosive,but its mechanical sensitivity and shock sensitivity is high,which limits its application in many conditions.Therefore,a small spherical particle coated with inert adhesive or inert adhesive is used to reduce the surface defects,so as to reduce its sensitivity and to achieve better stability and safety.In this paper,the HMX-based polymer bonded explosives?PBXs?were prepared by solution water suspension method with HMX as the main explosive,F2602 as the binder,and Span-80,Tween-80,PVA,dextrin as surfactant,respectively.Then,the optimal surfactant was selected and TATB desensitizer was added to prepare the HMX-based transfer explosive containing TATB.The characterization and performance test were carried out.The main research contents are as follows:?1?Submicron HMX were prepared by recrystallization using a self-made ultrasonic spray thinning device.The influence of solvent including DMSO,acetone and nitric acid and non-solvent such as absolute ethanol,water and chlorinated alkanes in the ultra-fine spray crystallization process was investigated.Then,the refined HMX was characterized and analyzed.The results showed that the best solvent and non-solvent were dimethyl sulfoxide and ethanol respectively.?2?Superfine HMX were also prepared using a self-made jet device under the optimal solvent and non-solvent.Compared with the above method,performance test results showed that the as-prepared refined HMX crystals tend to be spherical in shape as a whole,the dispersion effect was better,the distribution was more uniform.The crystal form of HMX prepared by the two methods is beta type,which was consistent with the raw material HMX and,which indicates that the crystal shape does not change during the refining process.The heat stability is not obviously changed compared to the raw material HMX.Compared with raw material HMX,the HMX of two methods refines the impact sensitivity.The impact sensitivity of ultra-fine HMX after spray refining is better than the impact sensitivity of spray refining HMX.?3?HMX-based PBXs were prepared by solution-water suspension with F2602602 as the binder,Span-80,Tween-80,PVA,dextrin as surfactant respectively.SEM results indicated that when Span-80 was surfactant,the particle surface was smoother,and the surface had a good coating layer with no obvious defects.X-ray diffractometer?XRD?test results showed that the HMX crystal form does not change during the coating process.Finally,the thermal analysis and impact sensitivity tests implied that adding surfactant during the process of coating HMX has no obvious effect on the thermal properties of the prepared PBXs.The impact sensitivity with the addition of the surfactant was improved,and the addition of Span-80 increased the most,indicating that the addition of Span-80 played an optimal role for the HMX-based PBX.?4?TATB/HMX-based PBXs with different ratios of TATB were prepared using solution-water suspension process with F2602602 as binder and Span80 as surfactant.The XRD results showed that the diffraction angle of the obtained TATB/HMX-based PBX explosive were correspond to the raw material HMX and TATB.Therefore,there was no change in the crystal structure of TATB and HMX during the process of encapsulating TATB/HMX-based PBX.The morphology of TATB/HMX-based PBX was spherical particles by SEM.With the increase of TATB content,the PBX was more encrypted and the coating effect was better.The DSC analysis showed that the apparent activation energy and pre-exponential factor of TATB/HMX based PBX particles are higher than those of the raw materials.The apparent activation energy was the highest when the content of TATB was 10%.Finally,through the impact sensitivity test,the H500 of the TATB/HMX based PBX particle was higher than that of the raw material HMX.When the content of TATB was 10%,its characteristics fall to the highest,the PBX's sensitivity was lowest.
