Involute spline broach as a broaching tool is the one forming process when broaching,its production efficiency is high,and processing accuracy and surface quality is good.It is often used in mass production and processing of parts.The quality of the outer surface of the blade of a broach has an important influence on its processing efficiency,the quality and life of the workpiece.The traditional machining methods usually use the grinding wheel to grind the outer surface of the tool tooth,so the machining efficiency is low,the surface quality is difficult to guarantee,and the grinding wheel self shedding is serious,resulting in a relatively harsh processing environment.Therefore,the external circle ultrasonic vibration honing technology is used to process the outer surface of the broach.On the basis of the study of the mechanism of ultrasonic honing,a set of external ultrasonic honing device is designed for the involute spline broach,and the experimental processing is carried out.The main contents and achievements of this paper are as follows:1.For ordinary grinding processing of single grain cutting maximum undeformed chip thickness were analyzed;according to the ultrasonic vibration is applied in different ways,analyzed the movement form of round three kinds of ultrasonic honing;the tangential ultrasonic vibration,a single abrasive cutting motion equation,and the material removal mechanism study.2.Based on the theoretical analysis,according to the actual processing of involute spline broach the reasonable choice of ultrasonic generator and transducer are calculated;the design of ladder tapered transition compound ultrasonic horn horn,calculation parameters,and the simulation analysis;according to the integration design,the design of ultrasonic honing wouldtransformer part two,including the horn and honing stone,and carries on the simulation.Finally,each part is assembled to form an ultrasonic vibration system,and the whole Ansys simulation analysis is carried out to determine the optimal structure.3.The impedance analysis of the designed ultrasonic honing vibration system is carried out to verify the rationality of the device.The fixture and test scheme are designed,and the test platform is built.The general honing test,radial ultrasonic vibration honing test and tangential ultrasonic vibration honing test were carried out respectively.By comparing and analyzing the test data and the surface morphology of the workpiece,it is concluded that the workpiece surface with the ultrasonic vibration honing method has a lower roughness value.When the workpiece rotational speed is rmin/230 and the honing depth is 20?m,the workpiece surface quality is the best.
