As new structure material,in-situ dendrite reinforced Ti-based metallic glass matrix composites have high strength,high elastic modulus and good toughness.For this composite,the wear and corrosion damage are difficult to avoid under working condition.So the wear and corrosion behavior needs to be further researched.In this paper,the Ti43Zr27Mo5Cu10Be15composites were prepared by using copper-mold suction casting.The wear behavior of the prepared composite under different loads,speeds and temperatures are studied first;and then effects of solution type,concentration and temperature on corrosion behavior of the prepared composite were studied.The main results are as follows:?1?With the increase of contact loads and speeds,friction coefficient of Ti43Zr27Mo5Cu10Be15,first decreased and then increased,and the wear loss increased;with the increase of temperature,the friction coefficient and wear loss gradually decreased.At light loads and low speeds,abrasive wear was dominant.Adhesive wear played an important role at heavy loads and high speeds.Oxidation wear is the main mechanism when temperatures were high.?2?At light loads and low speeds,the dentrites hardening was predominat in Ti43Zr27Mo5Cu10Be15,the amorphous matrix softening induced by generation of friction heat and increase of deformation happened when the loads and speeds increased.And the adhesive wear was severe.The high temperatue promoted triboxiadation on worn surface and more oxides formed with the tempersature increased.?3?In different solutions of NaCl,H2SO4 and NaOH,corrosion potential of Ti43Zr27Mo5Cu10Be15, decreased with increasing solution concentration,but corrosion potential increased in HCl with increase of solution concentration.Pit corrosion occured in NaCl and HCl solutions.No pitting corrosion happened in H2SO4 solution and NaOH solution.The Ti43Zr27Mo5Cu10Be15,corrosion potential decreased with increasing solution temperature,and had good corrosion resistance at room temperature.?4?There are defects at the inreface between dendrite and amorphous matrix,so corrosion begined there and expand into the amorphous matrix because of that amorphous matrixs were metastable and more easily corroded.With the increase of acid concentration,the contents of Ti and Zr on the surface of the material decrease gradually and the densification of passivation film decrease subsequently.At the same time,the presence of oxygen in the solution also aggravates the corrosion.
