In this paper, the effects of sodium oleate, dodecylamine, sodium hydroxamate, starch and sodium pyrophosphate on the filtration behavior of fine-grained hematite concentrates under different conditions were investigated by filtration tests. In order to investigate the filtration mechanism of the flotation agent acting on hematite, the surface potential of the hematite, the surface tension of the solution and the solution viscosity were determined. The filtration test showed that sodium oleate has a significant effect on the filtration of hematite,When the amount of sodium oleate exceeds 1600 g/t,it will seriously hinder the progress of filtration;dodecylamine had a greater effect on the filtration of hematite, and when the amount exceeded 1000 g/t,the filtration was the specific resistance of the cake begins to increase rapidly;the effect of sodium hydroxamate on hematite filtration is small. The pH of the slurry has a great influence on the filtration of the hematite. The strong alkaline slurry is not conducive to filtration, and the resistance of the filter cake in the strongly acidic and neutral slurry does not change much;addition of dodecylamine can reduce the filtration in the strongly alkaline slurry.Cake resistance, but in the strong acidic pulp cake than the resistance increases, the addition of sodium oleate and sodium hydroxamate effect of the law is just the opposite. In general, the temperature increase can reduce the specific resistance of the filter cake and reduce the water content of the filter cake, but the reduction is relatively small.Starch as a flocculant can reduce the specific resistance of the filter cake, while sodium pyrophosphate as a dispersant and inhibitor increases the specific resistance of the filter cake. The ζ potential test shows that the increase of the absolute ζ potential on the hematite surface is an important factor in the increase of the specific resistance of the hematite filter cake. The surface tension measurement results show that sodium oleate, dodecylamine, and hydroxamate can reduce the surface tension of the solution, while starch and sodium pyrophosphate have almost no effect on the surface tension of the solution. The solution viscosity test shows that the addition of sodium oleate and dodecylamine will increase the viscosity of the solution;as the temperature rises, the solution viscosity decreases.Flotation agents can affect the intergranular interaction forces by changing the ζpotential on the hematite surface, thereby affecting the dispersion of fines, and the dispersion of fines will lead to an increase in the specific resistance of the filter cake, which is not conducive to filtration;flotation Most of the agents are surfactants, and the surfactant can reduce the surface tension of the solution and reduce the water content of the filter cake. The flotation agent with high viscosity will hinder the flow of the filtrate and increase the specific resistance of the filter cake, while increasing the temperature will reduce the viscosity of the solution. |
