Titanium alloy,as an important metal in the progress of social development in the twenty-first Century,is attracting more and more attention from all over the world.The demand and application of titanium alloys are also increasing with the development of science and technology in all countries.Titanium alloys are widely applied in aerospace,medical devices and other fields due to their good performance.Its application degree has become the symbol of the advanced level of manufacturing and equipment in a country.However,the high cost,poor surface quality and other technical problems of titanium alloy in conventional cutting manufacturing still puzzle all related industries.Although titanium alloys have good properties in more common metals,they are more difficult to manufacture than ordinary metals because of their high temperature in cutting and serious tool wear.Therefore,the comprehensive research on titanium alloy cutting and its surface quality control is of great significance.In this paper,aiming at the problem of surface defect of titanium alloy parts,the finite element simulation analysis is made.First,a two-dimensional thermal force coupling cutting model is established by using the ABAQUS finite element simulation software.The cutting variables are the cutting front angle,the feed speed,the cutting depth,the tip radius,the material type,the material shape,the preheating temperature,the grid type,the seed distribution and so on.Through the analysis of the single and mutual influence of different variables,the influence of the change of various factors on the temperature and stress is obtained,and some setting of the parameters are summarized,which provides a certain theoretical basis for the actual titanium alloy processing.At the same time,in view of the problems of fluorescence penetrant detection of titanium alloy parts,the theoretical analysis is carried out,and its static analysis,numerical control machining tool path simulation and three-dimensional milling dynamic simulation,testing the problem,and through the processing test,change the path of the cutter,to solve the existing problems.
