Urushiol-titanium polymers with good properties including excellent physical and mechanical properties,acid resistance,alkali resistance,thermal stability and many other advantages,have be used as coatings.it have well be applied in the field of military industry,petrochemical industry,etc.But a serious problem with this is urushiol-titanium polymer poor weatherability is claimed to be validated in the process of anti-light aging.In this study,the weatherability of urushiol-titanium polymer was improved by the method of blending and intercalation.Firstly,the resin with excellent aging resistance were chosen to blend with urushiol-titanium polymer to prepare the urushiol-titanium polymer/resin composite coatings.The comprehensive performance of composite coatings was studied by means of artificial accelerated aging,electrochemistry and scanning electron microscopy(SEM).Experimental results show that composite coating,compared with urushiol-titanium polymer,has better weatherability and corrosion resistance when urushiol-titanium polymer blend with resin in good proportions.Secondly,the modified nano ZnO,nano TiO2 and high purity graphite has been added to the urushiol-titanium polymer/resin composite coatings,respectively.The influences of the content of modified inorganic materials to the performance of composite coating have been discussed.Through artificial accelerated aging,electrochemistry and other experiment we have studied the integrated performance of composite coatings,and selected the best formula of composite coating.Lastly,due to the fact that layered a-zirconium phosphate(a-ZrP)can make it has special effect in improving anti-aging of coating.a-ZrP was synthesized and pre-intercalated by cholamine and cetyl trimethyl ammonium bromide(CTAB).Then the pre-intercalated a-ZrP was utilized to synthesis urushiol-titanium/ZrP composite coating(M-ZrP)by intercalation compounding method.XRD,TEM,FT-IR were used for analysis of samples.results proved that a-ZrP was successfully intercalated and ZrP-containing composite coating lost the layered order duo to the process of exfoliation.The thermal behaviors of M-ZrP represented by TG.The anti-light aging property of samples were studied by XPS and artificial accelerated aging test.The results indicated that the required amount of a-ZrP could improve the weatherability of the urushiol-titanium polymer coating remarkably,and the best formula was determined through the experiment.
