With the improvement of people's living standards,people's requirements for the textile color are also getting higher and higher,and the pursuit of textile color is gradually changing from brightness to colorful and accurate.Although the digital jacquard technology can meet the basic demand for textile color,there are still some problems from the point of the view of production.There are some problems for the digital jacquard companies.The number of textile colors expressed by advanced digital jacquard technology is limited,the appearance gradation is poor,the colored yarns is selected by people with great subjectivity,and people's sense of color management is poor.In view of these above problems,the paper studies on improving the visual gradations and the color accuracy of the digital jacquard fabric.For the problem of color hierarchy of physical image,a symmetric multi-threshold error diffusion was proposed for digital jacquard woven fabric.Taking the gradient image as an example,compared with the traditional error diffusion method,it proves that the symmetric multi-threshold error diffusion method can avoid the target image offsetting caused by traditional error diffusion method effectively.Merge the images by direct merge method,indexing diffusion method and symmetric multi-threshold error diffusion method separately.By comparing the color distribution and chromatic aberration of the physical images,it proves that the visual hierarchy of the image merged by symmetric multi-threshold error diffusion method is more abundant,the chromatic aberration is the least,and the visual effect is closest to the original image.The practical weaving verification of the method shows that the method can improve the effect of color merging without changing the existing fabric structure and weaving technology.It can realize the color abundant of the physical image in visual and it is practical and feasible.For the problem of color accuracy of physical image,the ICC color management used in digital printing filed was proposed as a reference in the process of digital jacquard weaving.Following the production process of ICC profile files strictly,the paper analyzes the selection of color sample cards,the control of test conditions and the optimization of ICC measurement data,and then creates two sets of ICC profile piles into application.Through analyzing the applications,it evaluates the differences between the two sets of ICC profile files in color gamut,saturation,brightness and hue of the sample card in the ICC color gamuts objectively.It proves that both of the two sets of ICC profile files are effective.And the color gamut shapes and application effects of the two sets of ICC profile files are very similar,so that the small sample standard card can be used to make ICC profile file of digital jacquard fabric.The paper also evaluates three color physical images with different styles in detail,color expression and overall effect subjectively,it further shows that ICC color management is feasible and practical in digital jacquard weaving process.
