Casting is one of the basic technology in the modern equipment manufacturing industry.As liquid metal and pressed casting will naturally cool and release a lot of heat,the temperature of casting operation point is high and the heat radiation intensity is high,which is easy to form the hot environment.Labor workers in the environment will be covered in sweat.Most of the domestic casting workshop do not set the artificial ventilation means due to investment and other reasons,resulting in poor ventilation,hard sweat evaporation,overheating and heat storage.Not only the environment failed to meet the requirements of the relevant norms,but also the work efficiency and health of workers has been seriously influenced.Hence,choosing a ventilation cooling solution of the work environment which possesses the feature of environmental protection and energy saving,economically viable,and meeting the needs of relevant norms has become the main content of current designation and research of forging workshop.In this paper,taking a workshop in Xi'an as an example,the thermal environment parameters of the workshop were measured on site.Through Airpak,the numerical simulation of the existing workshop's natural ventilation is carried out.Compared the simulation data with the measured data,improve that the numerical simulation accuracy.The numerical model is used to analyze the environmental problems in the workshop,and three improvement schemes are put forward: isolation heat source,local ventilation,evaporative cooling ventilation cooling.The temperature field,velocity field and radiation temperature of the workshop are compared and analyzed.The advantages and disadvantages of each improvement scheme are summed up,which can provide references for other high temperature thermal radiation industrial workshop environment improvement.
