Recently,Au nanocage has been widely used as nanocarriers due to its good performance.Au nanocage is a hollow metal nano-material with a porous surface.Owing to its tunable pore structure, adjustable particle size and large absorption cross section,Au nanocage has a good application prospect in drug delivery. In addition,Au nanocage has a tunable SPR band in the near infrared region, where the attenuation of light is greatly reduced in blood and soft tissue.Liposomes are micro-vesicles formed by lipid-like layers consisting of phospholipids or amphiphilic substances. It can be used for gene and drug delivery due to its good biocompatibility and surface properties.Adding specific molecules into liposomes can create functional liposomes, such as pH and temperature-sensitive liposomes,or tissue-specific liposomes. In this paper, liposomes are wrapped onto the surface of Au nanocages, resulting in a core-shell composite drug nanocarrier(denoted as Au nanocage@Lioposme).Such a nanocarrier combines the fine properties of Au nanocages and liposomes. On the one hand, compared with pure Au nanocages, the addition of liposomes can improve the drug loading efficiency and effectively reduce drug leakage in the transport process. On the other hand, the core-shell structure can sufficiently inhibit the flow of liposomal molecular layer, increasing the stability of liposomes. The fabricated composite nanocarrier has good pH-responsive characteristics.Besides,it can also absorb certain laser irradiations to trigger light-stimulated drug release. Therefore, this composite nanocarrier has a good prospect in biomedical applications such as drug delivery. |
