Computer numerical control(CNC)turret is both a kind of component to install the cutting tool,and also a kind of device used to turn position and change cutting tool.So the CNC turret not only affects the installation effect of cutting tool,but also affects the processing accuracy and processing efficiency of machine tool.In order to improve the quality of domestic CNC turret and enhance its international competitiveness,this project has carried out the research on dynamic characteristics and analysis of gear transmission system based on CNC turret.Detailed research contents and major achievements of this paper are listed as follows:(1)The structure and working principle of a servo turret are described.The test platform of turret dynamic characteristics is designed with diversification and refinement.Through the invention and manufacturing related experimental auxiliary devices and components,select the appropriate structural dynamic test equipment,complete the main test platform building of turret dynamic characteristics.The series of designs and inventions not only ensure the rationality of the test bench,but also facilitate the operation of the experiment and reduce the impact of accidental factors on the experimental results.(2)The dynamic test parameters of the turret are carried out in different installation modes and different conditions.And compared the frequency characteristics of a domestic turret with a foreign turret.These dynamic characteristic parameters not only assess the dynamic characteristics of the turret under certain conditions,but also guide the direction of the subsequent optimization of the turret.(3)A finite element model was established for the virtual prototyping of a new type of servo turret.The dynamic simulation analysis was carried out by using the finite element analysis software,including the modal analysis and the harmonic response analysis.By analyzing the front six-order modal parameters of the turret,both the vibration characteristics of turret are obtained and the weak link of the structure are also found.(4)Aiming at the problem of abnormal noise emitted by the gear drive system in the continuous operation of a certain type of servo turret,the vibration test of the whole turret was carried out.Analysis the test data by spectrum analysis to find out one of the main vibration and noise source is a pair of meshing gear.The meshing transmission characteristics of the pair of gears are improved by checking and modifying the gears.
