| Crumb Rubber powder refers to the granulated powder obtained from mechanical works such as mechanical grinding at ambient temperature.Therefore,crumb rubber powder is a kind of elastomer with crosslinking structure composed of rubber,inorganic filler,curing agent and other additives.The use of recycled tire crumb rubber powder is one of the main attempts to disposal the waste vehicle tires,and crumb rubber powder could be one of the main sources to produce rubber product.At present,there are two major pollution sources of solid polymer waste in the world,namely "black pollution"mainly based on waste tires,and "white pollution" mainly made of polyethylene and other plastics".With the development of automobile industry,more and more waste tires are produced.These waste tires not only waste land resources,damage the environment,present security risks,but also are not conducive to the sustainable development of human society.It is beneficial to reduce the cost and waste rubber resource by adding waste tire crumb rubber powder to produce natural rubber.In this project,the objective of the study was to investigate the performance of rubber products by addition of the crumb rubber powder.To this end,the effects of different crumb rubber powder dosage,the powder mesh size,the type of crumb rubbers and the type of reinforcing agents on the blends of crumb rubber powder and natural rubber vulcanizates.The performance of the blends tested includedThe research results showed 1)60 orders of rubber / natural rubber vulcanizates with80 mesh rubber / natural rubber vulcanizates,the tensile strength,elongation at break,tear strength,deformation properties,rebound performance with the change of powder content to meet the two polynomial variation.by comparison of the 60 orders of rubber / natural rubber vulcanizates with 80 mesh rubber / natural rubber vulcanized rubber,different mesh size has little effect on the mechanical properties,resilience and hot air aging property.2)The tensile strength,elongation at break,200% elongation strength,tear strength,shore A hardness,compression deformation and resilience of vulcanized rubber powder / natural rubber vulcanizates all meet the linear development trend.The tensile strength,elongation at break,200% elongation strength,tearing strength,shore A hardness,compression deformation and resilience of the ordinary rubber powder / NR vulcanizate meet the development law of the two polynomial.The performance of two kinds of rubber powderis higher than that of ordinary rubber powder / NR vulcanizate when the amount of rubber powder is less than 60%.3)Compared with carbon black powder / natural rubber vulcanization and without carbon powder / properties of natural rubber vulcanizates can be found,without adding carbon black rubber / natural rubber vulcanizate hardness is adding carbon black powder / natural rubber vulcanizate hardness is low,its texture is more soft,so the tensile elongation and resilience compression permanent deformation is higher.However,the tensile strength and tear strength are obviously lower due to the lack of carbon black. |
