Research On The Origin Of Drinking Tea In Changchun Area And The Way To Popularize Tea Knowledge

With the continuous development of social economy,tea,as one of daily necessities,coruscates its new vitality.Especially since the reform and opening up,although tea industry has always maintained a good momentum of rapid development,it also experiences all kinds of test.To push forward and guide people to understand and master the correct knowledge of tea and tea culture,has become a top priority of the development of tea industry.Changchun city,located in central northeast region,has its irreplaceable role in the situation of the development of tea industry and people’s understanding of tea knowledge.At the same time,the author found that there is a blank in the northeast region(Heilongjiang,Jilin,Liaoning and Inner Mongolia area)of professional surveys of tea industry.Therefore,this article aims to fill the blank and to solve tea industry lags between northeast China and the national development,and to advance current situation of tea knowledge and to promote a rapid development of tea industry in northeast China.This paper is based on a survey on tea knowledge of Changchun people.A total of 2200 questionnaires were issued,1941(88.227%)ones feedback,in which 1651(75.045%)ones were qualified.By statistics study and analysis,the consumption in Changchun area were as follows:black tea(34.161%),Pu-erh tea(16.959%),oolong tea(19.019%),and scented tea(12.901%).Tea with light flavor such as white tea(0.969%)and yellow tea fewer(0.666%)were not as popular as the former ones.As to cognition degree of tea types,black tea accounted for 96.699%and yellow tea was the lowest,only 1.878%.In the specific tea cognitive situation,people learned more of the color,aroma and taste,but less of leaf shapes and infused leafs.Also,people had less requirements on tea sets,water,and brewing methods.The age range of tea drinkers in Changchun was between 20 and 80.Among them,38 to 65 years old people had more tea than people were in the rest ages.There was a trend that more and more young people liked drinking tea.And the proportion of men and women came to even.But most people still focused on the taste and quality of tea,without wondering deep reasons.Although in Changchun city there were some short-term classes of tea arts,most people hoped to have more opportunities to learn such knowledge systematically.People liked to improve their quality of life by mastering tea art and brewing a good cup of tea.It also showed direct connect between consumption trend and their ages,cultural backgrounds,working invironment,occupations and income.People in different age groups suggested different preferences:regardless of income,cultural level,living and working environments,young drinkers liked more of the taste and popularity,which was the process of learning and seeking.The middle-aged drinkers seemed to have both rational and perceptual in the consumption of tea,which were influenced by their income and experiences.In particular,they preferred adapting to seasonal tea,as well as to satisfy their pleasure,sentiment,fun of life,and keeping healthy.The elderly tea drinkers were called as "old tea ghost".They were not bound by popular trend,the impact of climate change,nor health functions.They,as always,liked their own type of tea and brewed with their own handy old tea sets.As a result,people liked tea and enjoyed the feeling of drinking tea,but,they had less knowledge on tea producing,tea making,tea brewing,and tea culture.At the same time,the author took field research on tea business,founds that there are abundant business places but less knowledge of tea industry and promotion awareness.It concludes that Changchun people are lack of tea history and confidentbased on analysis and survey of Changchun history,culture,region specialty.In view of the above features,this paper provides countermeasures and suggestions to popularization of tea knowledge in Changchun area,also providesreferences to tea industry development of Changchun region and other cities which have common interests in northeast area.
