With the advance of globalization,the phenomenon of cultural localization is attracting more and more attention.This paper investigated that pub culture of Changsha has three cultural backgrounds,which are the Huxiang culture,cabaret culture,media culture.Meanwhile,this study summarizes the three driving forces of the localization of Changsha pub culture,which are the driving force of cultural globalization,the driving force of the change of consumption patterns and the driving force of cultural identity.In different bars of cultural products as a symbol,this study illustrates the Changsha pub culture localization process,which can be divided into four stages:the budding period which symbol is clear bar,the development period which symbol is show bar,the peak period which symbol is slow-rock bar and the bottleneck which symbol is the appearance of the bar street.Through nearly 20 years of development,Changsha pub culture has initially completed the localization,the localization of each local characterization and entertainment space layout mode in the pub culture on popular music style,the traditional arts and the content of the folk custom.However,thelocalization of Changsha pub culture has also produced many problems,including that popularization of culture lead to the loss of mass cultural features,cultural dross leads to pub culture becoming vulgarization,geared to cater to the business needs result in the pub culture in unprecedented danger of hollowing out.To solve the problems,the future development of Changsha pub culture need to continueto keep the subcultural fusion of pop culture temperament,while strengthening the guiding role of government and industry organizations,innovative products to the return of cultural to essence pub culture.
