Study On Key Technologies Of Oil Detection System Based On THz ATR Spectroscopy

Pipeline transportation is mainly applied for product oil transportation in the world now,in the process,it is unavoidable that the oil mixture will appear between different kinds of oil.Due to that the oil mixture can't be used directly in the life and industry,we need to identify and extract the oil mixture.Therefore,it is necessary to find a method of testing the oil mixture accurately and timely?Our research group combine the attenuate total reflection spectroscopy(ATR)with terahertz time domain spectroscopy on the basis of the terahertz time-domain spectroscopy(THz-TDS)technology for oil detection.In this article,the attenuated total reflection ATR transducer is used in the terahertz time-domain spectroscopy system.The material and the size of the ATR transducer is designed,at the same time,the original light path is modified to set up the new attenuate total reflection time-domain spectroscopy detection system.The lighttools software is used to simulate and optimize the transformational light path,the solidworks software is applied to design two sample cells for the two different sizes ATR prisms.It provides the conditions for the experiments and improves the safety of the experiments.The characteristics of designed ATR transducer is measured and verified to prove the correctness of the material selection,the accuracy of size and the feasibility of the light path.Meanwhile,the system is used to test the water and different kinds of oil to get the time-domain spectrum of different oil.According to the analysis of the experimental results,due to the measurement environment and the cause of the little absorption of terahertz,the result of testing is not good.A further improvement of the system is put forward though the analysis of the various factors affecting the experimental results.Designing and verifying the ATR transducer provides a basis for the further oil testing.It is valuable for achievement of the oil mixture measurement.
