The Study Of Features And The Foundation Of Database Of Men's Shirts

Shirts,as an essential apparel in men's armoire,show men's dressing style and taste.However,with shirts relaxed,personalized and diversified in recent years,the design of shirt made many breakthroughs in its style,color and fabric.Which made it more difficult for apparel sector to classify shirts by its style and fashion.And even many dress designers failed to understand the difference between features and dressing functions of various style.And customers becoming more and more confused and puzzled in the selection and wearing in shirts.In addition,with the data information becoming the major resource that enterprises compete for,how to exploit and use imformation sufficiently and effectively to improve their working efficiency to improve their own competitiveness has become the point that all enterprises should focus on.This paper analysed the shirt features and set up men's shirt database system,which,on the one hand,provides guidance for design and production of men's shirt and leads consumers to choose and be dressed shirt exactly,and on the other hand,make shirt designers and production enterprises to store and retrieve shirts' imformation conveniently and efficiently.The main tasks of this paper are as follows.Firstly,on the base of study on shirts' style,color and fabric,shirts are classfied according to its collar,sleeve,garment body,top fly,pocket,main color and pattern.And men consumers' tastes for appearance of shirts are researched and their habits of choosing when purchasing shirts are analysed with the questionnaire surveys.Secondly,based on the requirements of shirt designers and production enterprises,and after studying the shirts' features and analysing the stored information and retrieval mode of related database system existed now.The database system,which contains shirt appearance database and woven shirt fabric database,was built.The system,with MySQL as its backend database,was built with the use of Tomcat server,IDEA development tool,JSP,SSM framework technology and Java program language.Finally,the way to operate the system was displayed,and system characteristics were summarized and analyzed in three areas: backend database,functionality and technicality.In addition,two design practices of men shirt were carried out with the use of the shirt database system.
