Benzenes and their derivatives are highly important part of aromatic compounds,and play a crucial role in natural products and pharmaceuticals.As a result,the synthesis of benzene architecture is always a hot topic in organic synthetic chemistry.Transition metal catalyzed C-H bond activations are in accordance with atom economy and green chemistry,thus,we devote to develop new type of oxidative-dehydrogenative functionalization reactions.In this thesis,we mainly focus our research on palladium-catalyzed aromatization reaction between C-H bond activation of electron rich compound(indole),and oxidative dehydrogenation of propiophenone.This reaction achieved construction of substituted benzenes through one step preparation,supplying the most effective synthetic method for carbazoles,and exhibit good functional tolerance.The paper includes the following two parts:The first part:the research background of transition metal catalyzed functionalization reactionsIn this part,we mainly introduce the mechanism of transition metal catalyzed C-H bond activation and the latest research progress about transition metal catalyzed functionalization reactions.Additionally,we chiefly introduce all kinds of transition metal(Pd,Rh,Ru,Au ect.)catalyzed oxidative-dehydrogenative olefination reaction.The second part:palladium catalyzed aromatization reaction based on oxidative dehydrogenation between propiophenone and indoleIn this part,we detailed present palladium catalyze aromatization reaction based on oxidative dehydrogenation between propiophenone and electron-rich indole.Palladium as catalyst not only can activate C-H bond of electron rich indole,but also promote oxidative dehydrogenate of propiophenone.Finally,these different two reactions operated in a tandem cross-coupling manner in the same reaction system,which is,the direct aromatization reaction between propiophenone and indole.This new type of reaction provides a efficient and straightforward synthetic method for carbazoles.
