Deepwater oil and gas development is becoming the main growth point of the world’s oil industry and the forefront of scientific and technological innovation.With the increase of water depth,the recoverable scale of offshore oil and gas field increases greatly.Globally,the offshore oil and gas resources are distributed in more than 300 meters deep waterarea;deep water has become the strategic choice of China’s offshore oil development.The subseacollet connector is a new and fast way to connect the underwater pipeline.It has a wide application prospect in the deep water oil and gas pipeline.However,due to China’s oil and gas development mainly in shallow area,and due to the material,machining precision and operation restrictions,China’s subsea research and collet connectorare still in its infancy in the deep waters of the application of ROV.This paper deeply research on domestic and card collet connector based on the study on the overall scheme,the collet connector structure design and installation process.Combined with the project,the engineering application method of subsea connection using ROV to install the collet connector is formed.The key problems such as collet connector lifting operation and ROV subsea operation are solved.First of all,the overall structure of the collet connector is introduced.The collet connector is composed of three parts: the installation tool,the collet joint and the base joint.Then,according to the structure design,the manufacturing technology and process of each part of the collet connector are studied respectively.Then,the collet connector in laboratory testing and SIT technology were studied,tension,compression,bending and torsion in four trials,and connector SIT test,using subsea cleaning tools for HUB clean and replace the seal ring test and SIT test.Secondly,the installation analysis of the collet connector are carried out,the PLET and the jumper are analyzed.Based on the SACS software and Orca Flex software,the lifting operation of the PLET and the jumper are analyzed,the strength of the structure is checked,and the rigging configuration scheme during the operation is determined.The force of the collet connector on three steps of deck lifting,water entry and landing is studied.On the basis of this,the subsea installation process of the collet connector with ROV is studied deeply,and the subsea landing and locking process of the collet connector are analyzed.Finally,based on HYSY 291 vessel combined with a project,the lifting operation,subsea installation work based on the ROV were studied.The research results in this paper can be used for reference in the design of the collet connector and the application in the future.
