Water quality and safety of urban drinking water sources has always been the basic needs of people’s lives and social development.In this paper,according to the water quality and safety of surface water sources in Hebei Province,this paper proposed the use of CFD software based on computational fluid dynamics to simulate water quality changes in water sources,Based on the monitoring data of water quality,predict the trend of water quality according to the results of model simulation so as to strengthen the technical path of water quality and safety management and provide support for the improvement of water quality and safety management The research chooses the EFDC water quality model recommended by EPA,adopts IWIND software platform,taking Gangnan Reservoir in Shijiazhuang as an example,and conducts a water quality simulation study.Based on the GIS digital map and the ground elevation in the reservoir area,an orthogonal grid was used to establish the reservoir area model.Based on the 2016 and subsequent reservoir area monitoring data,the input flow,water quality and water level were used as the computational boundary to simulate and discuss the water in the reservoir area The water quality during the rainy season exchange and the operation simulated the water quality changes in Gangnam reservoir from August to September in 2016.The results showed that the error between the simulation results of ammonia nitrogen and total phosphorus in water quality and the actual monitoring data was small and met the prediction requirements On this basis,hypothetical data were used to further simulate the water quality of ammonia nitrogen exceeding Grade III in seven inflow rivers of Gangnan Reservoir.According to the results of simulation,the water quality of the intake will be significantly affected after 30 days.The research shows that the reservoir water quality model established by IWIND software platform can effectively simulate the water quality change during the water changing period in the reservoir area and predict the water quality safety risk.Guided by this as a basis for water change scheduling,timely interception of inflow,can effectively guarantee the water quality and safety of the reservoir area...
