This paper takes GMA as grafting monomer,DCP as initiator,melting in a torque rheormeter graft,preparation of EPDM-g-GMA graft copolymer is used as the interface modifier,through the torque time curves and FTIR on the grafting reaction were characterized and analyzed EPDM-g-GMA graft graft rate influencing factors;selection of acetic acid,hydrochloric acid,lemon acid as pretreatment agent of talc powder was activated with titanate coupling agent modified talcum powder,to investigate the effect of pretreatment agent type and dosage on the surface properties of talc powder;blending method using modified talc powder and polypropylene(PP)composite,preparation of PP/modified talc powder composite materials.Study on the effect of acid concentration on the surface properties of PP/modified talc powder and talcum powder size performance of composite system mechanical properties;by blending method EPDM-g-GMA grafted with PP/modified talc.For the preparation of PP/composite modified three element composites of talc/EPDM-g-GMA system,to explore the effects of EPDM-g-GMA on the mechanical properties of PP/modified talc composite microstructure,rheological behavior,crystallization behavior.The results showed that EPDM was grafted onto GMA to produce EPDM-g-GMA graft under the action of initiator DCP.When the reaction temperature was 170,the grafting time was 10min,and the grafting efficiency was up to EPDM/GMA/DCP= 100/8/1.0.After the modification of by the pH value of 4.0-5.0,the contact angle increased to 114.97 degrees,the activation rate increased to 10%,and the surface properties of talc changed from hydrophilicity to lipophilicity.The acetic acid after the modification,the mechanical properties of PP/modified talc composite system has been improved,when the modified talc dosage is 30 wt%,the impact strength reached the maximum value of 3.21kJ/m-2,tensile strength 30.64MPa,bending strength is 65.29MPa;SEM analysis showed that the modified talc powder with PP interface a stronger effect on the stability of size;showed that PP/modified talc composite size change rate decreased,increased stability.Enhance the mechanical properties of EPDM-g-GMA make PP/modified talc composites.When modified talc dosage is 30 wt%,the dosage of EPDM-g-GMA is 8w%,the impact strength is 6.27kJ/m-2,tensile strength 20.11 MPa,bending strength is 61.07MPa;SEM analysis shows that the graft copolymer of EPDM-g-GMA composite impact section of rough,talcum powder obtained better dispersion,interfacial compatibility better,enhance the overall toughness of the composite system;stability of size indicates that the size change of PP/modified talc composites decreases,stability and flowability decreased;DSC and WXRD analysis show that EPDM-g-GMA has a certain influence on the crystallization behavior of the composites,has almost no effect on the melting temperature of crystallization the crystallization temperature is reduced to 163.53℃.
