The quality of aluminum and aluminum alloy is lighter,Its conductivity and thermal conductivity are extremely excellent,excellent in electric and thermal conductivity.Being additive Zr putted in Aluminium conductors,Heat resistant aluminum alloy conductor is a new type of special conductor with better heat-resistant,tensile strength and electric conductors compared with the traditional conductor,it has higher heat resistance.It is widely used in the transmission of power system and aerospace field in the future[1].The focus of this paper is on the dynamic ECAE forming and aging conditions of a high content Zr heat-resistant aluminum alloy conductor.With the aid of scanning electron microscopy?SEM?,the enhanced aggregation of Zr at different channels of ECAE was observed and the spectrum analysis was analyzed.the hardness of the Al-Zr alloy aged treatment was tested by using domestic Vivtorinox digital low load,electric conductors measured by DC direct current electric bridge with double.The micro-structures of high Al-Zr alloy were also measured by metallographic microscope as well as mechanical properties and electrical conductivities,the optimum ECAE processing were studied.The stress,strain and temperature distribution of the N0.1 roll-pass of Al-Mg-Si alloy prepared by two-corner ECAE dynamic forming were simulated by DEFORM-3D simulation software.The simulated results show that the maximum equivalent stress,strain and temperature of Al-Mg-Si alloy by using 2-turn ECAE forming are 141MPa,31.4 and 415?,respectively,which is equal to the properties prepared by No.2 ECAE forming,the efficiency is basically double of one turn ECAE forming.the dimension and internal contour of the ECAE die is improved by variety of study on ECAE forming processes,the data were provided for optimizing roll pass of ECAE processing.The parameters related to the process of multi-access continuous ECAE forming and drawing are optimized.The problems of improving the quality of the wire and improving the productivity of the wire are studied.The Al-0.6%Zr heat resistant aluminum alloy wires with high properties were obtained.It has certain guiding significance for the study of the new process of continuous ECAE forming of high zirconium Al-Zr alloy conductor.
