Globoidal indexing cam mechanism with high transmission speed,accuracy and good dynamic performance index,bigger bearing capacity,good reliability,is widely used in the need to achieve automatic machine tools,packaging machinery,textile machinery,printing machinery,construction machinery and other equipment in the intermittent movement.However,the surface of globoidal indexing cam is a kind of non developable surface,and there are still many difficulties such as the lack of precision.It is precisely because of the difficulty in the design and manufacture of the globoidal indexing cam,the indexing cam of the super high speed packaging machine made by the introduction of the technology is also imported.Further study on the digital manufacturing of globoidal indexing cam is beneficial to the technical innovation of tobacco machinery.This paper focuses on the digital design and manufacture of the globoidal indexing cam for the super high speed cigarette packaging machine.The design theory and dynamic characteristics of cam and NC simulation and machining of globoidal indexing cam machining error detection,step by step convergence,realize the integration of digital design and manufacture of globoidal indexing cam.The main work as follow:First of all,according to the characteristics of globoidal indexing cam mechanism,the design parameters are analyzed.The equations of conjugate surface and working profile are derived by using conjugate surface theory and coordinate transformation method.The parameters are designed and CROE modeling software is used for 3D modeling.The dynamic simulation of the driven disk is carried out by ADAMS software,and the correctness of the modeling is verified by the analysis of the moving parameters of the driven diskThen,The equivalent machining and non equivalent machining of globoidal indexing cam are analyzed.At the same time,the equation of tool position control for cam machining is deduced on the basis of unilateral machining theory,and the mathematical model of globoidal indexing cam error is established.The processing error is calculated and analyzed to verify the feasibility of the method.After that,using the UG CAM NC machining module for the globoidal indexing cam machining simulation,using the optimized tool path,through the customized post-processing to generate the actual processing of the NC code.Field processing code using Makino DMU50 five axis machining tool to generate,verify the correctness of the post processor of the globoidal indexing cam and the customization of the digital processing.Finally,the evaluation method of profile error of globoidal indexing cam is studied.Measurement of cam machining the contour machining quality using MQ8106 three coordinate measuring machine based on fast iterative algorithm and the coordinate matching optimization method for solving,assessment of the cam profile finished error.The experimental results show the feasibility and practicability in practical production.
