Preparation And Evaluation Of Natural Polymer Plant Polyphenol-Loaded Nano/Micro Carriers | Posted on:2018-10-02 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | Country:China | Candidate:Y L Zhang | Full Text:PDF | GTID:2321330542451916 | Subject:Biophysics | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | Many of the Plant Polyphenols have good effect on antioxidant,Such as Resveratrol,Curcumin,Quercetin,Paeonol,Tea polyphenol,etc.Resveratrol is an effective anti-ageing drug.In addition,it also has antioxidant capacity and whitening effect.However these potential applications of resveratrol in cosmetic,food and pharmaceutical are restricted by its poor water solubility and light instability.Therefore,this study will focus on developing a nature polymer delivery system for potential use of resveratrol.Fabrication and characterization of Zein/SBP microsphere.We prepared Zein/SBP microsphere with particle sizes 500-600 nm via a simple antisolvent procedure.Storage stability,and loading capacity and delivery for plant polyphenol,as well as in vitro gastrointestinal digestion of Zein/SBP microsphere were extensively evaluated.Resveratrol loaded Zein/SBP were prepared and characterized to investigate factors influencing oral targeting potential of nature polymer micropheres.Physical stability study suggested Resveratrol-loaded Zein/SBP micropheres had good physical stability.This kind of Zein/SBP microsphere facilitated to the design of functional food formulation.Nature polymer Zein/CH colloidal particles were prepared based antisolvent procedure.Zein/CH colloidal particles were used as solid particles stabilizer to stabilizing Pickering emulsion.Pickering emulsion were prepared and characterized to investigate factors influencing oral targeting potential of nature polymer carriers.Nature polymer Zein/CH colloidal particle based Resveratrol-loaded Pickering emulsion was produced using cold high-pressure homogenization method.In present study,particle size.PDI and stability was used to screen the optimum type and concentration of surfactant.Pickering emulsion possessed strong loading capacity(above 1%)and high encapsulation efficiency(above 99.8%)for Resveratrol.Nature polymer Zein/CH Based Resveratrol-loaded Pickering emulsion protected resveratrol against UV-light.Meanwhile,Pickering emulsion had strong anti-digestion in in vitro gastrointestinal tract,and can be used for colon-specific drug delivery.This kind of Pickering emulsion facilitated to the design of functional food formulation.Fibroin is a kind of natural polymer from natural silk.It could be used as carriers material as well as active substance in cosmetic products.Nature polymer Fibroin based Resveratrol-loaded nanoemulsion were perpared and characterized.The particle size,loading amount and entrapment efficiency,structure and morphology of Nature polymer Fibroin based Resveratrol-loaded nanoemulsion were characterized.Physical stability study suggested Fibroin based Resveratrol-loaded nanoemulsion had good physical stability.In vitro antioxidant activity study showed an obvious radical scavenging activity of Fibroin based Resveratrol-loaded nanoemulsion.When it was used in cosmetic cream,it present good moisture effect,good skin whitening effect.In present study,resveratrol-loaded microspheres with different nature polymer compositions were developed.From physicochemical properties and comparative evaluation,it is clearly suggested that the nature polymer microspheres made from different nature polumer compositions possess different characteristics.When coupled with the values of entrapmentefficiency and particle size after 14 weeks of storage,the microspheres with higher viscosity had better physical stability.By controlling the crystallisation of nature polymer microspheres,the release rate at the burst release phase could be modulated.Since particle size,crystallization,and release profile were affected by the composition of polymer matrix,the retention amounts of resveratrol in vivo were also related to the polymer composition.The nanocarriers with low liquid lipid ratio were considered to be more potential for topical application due to the advantage of vivo absorption efficacy. | Keywords/Search Tags: | Zein/SPB, Zein/CH, Resveratrol, Pickering emulsion, Fibroin | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
