Piezoelectric ceramic is a kind of functional material which can convert mechanical energy into electrical energy.It has been widely used in the fields of electronics,communication,household appliances,aerospace etc.As its widerapplications and higher competitive market,piezoelectric ceramics are requested with not only high piezoelectric constant d33,dielectric constant ?r,electromechanical coupling coefficient Kp,and low dielectric loss tan?,but also with high consistency of product performance in the production process,to improve the qualified rate of products,reduce production costs and reduce the waste of raw materials.It has been found that in the process of mass production,the inhomogeneous chemical composition is the most direct cause of the deviation of product performance.It has been found that in the process of mass production,the inhomogeneous chemical composition is the most direct cause of the deviation of product performance.Especially during twice ball milling processes,slurry precipitation layered because of the difference in density of the ingredients,and ultimately affect the consistency of products performance.Therefore,in order to make the ceramic powders form stable suspensions,the effects of the kinds of dispersants and the process parameters on the performance and consistency of the piezoelectric ceramics were studied in this paper.In this subject,types of dispersants and adding method are studied to the dispersion effect of piezoelectric ceramic slurry.The results show that the dispersant can improve the suspension performance of many kinds of piezoelectric ceramic powders in the solvent,and in some experiments,the electrical properties of piezoelectric ceramics can be improved.In the study of the dispersibility of one of the most widely used and most prominent piezoelectric properties PSN-PNN-PZT piezoelectric ceramics,wefound that adding 3 wt.% poly methacrylic acid ammonium dispersant and anhydrous ethanol as a solvent to make slurry due to the non-soluble group can be anchored in the ceramic powder dispersed on the surface of polymer molecular agent in the milling process,while soluble groups in the polymer micelles form a fully extended state in the medium,can form a certain thickness of the ceramic the powder around the steric layer,thereby maintaining the dispersion and stability of slurry suspension,ceramic powder has better dispersion,the formation of the most stable suspension.With the application of this technology,piezoelectric ceramic performance can be improved:d33(?)=605.12 p C/N,?r=2396.55,tan?=1.8595%,Kp=65.2%.The electrical performance parameters are more concentrated in the threshold value,which can improve the pass rate and reduce the cost.
