Coal has been one of the pillars of China's boom.With the development of economy,the demand for coal is gradually increased.The insufficient understanding of the nature of coal mine safety and the lack of a complete coal mine safety monitoring system to monitor the factors,environmental parameters,equipment and personnel information of coal mine are the main cause of the accident.Ontology provide a common recognition and understanding of the relevant domain knowledge,and realize the reuse and sharing of knowledge.Through the ontology model of coal mine,a formal representation for the concepts and the relationship between concepts of coal mine is provided,logical reasoning is supported to exploit the dangerous information in underground,which provide the necessary protection for coal mine safety production.The traditional method of manual building ontology has the problem of labor-intensive and time-consuming,more strong depend on subjective opinions of experts and poor universality.In order to reduce the workload of ontology construction and improve efficiency,the technology of construction of ontology based on automatic or semi-automatic is proposed and gradually becomes a research hotspot.Formal Concept Analysis(FCA)should be used as a tool to analyze data and extract rules from formal context.By a formalized way the concepts,attributes and relationships in ontology could be expressed,and implicit relationships between concepts could be found.Apply FCA to ontology construction could overcome the shortcomings of traditional construction methods,which avoid the intervention of human factors in the process of ontology construction,and express the hierarchical structure of the ontology clearly by constructing concept lattice.In this paper,the relevant theory,tools and methods of ontology is analyed,an appropriate method combined with the seven-step method and the skeleton method for ontology construction of coal mine is selected,an initial ontology model is constructed by Protégé ontology modeling tool.And a method apply FCA to ontology construction of coal mining face is provided.The inference rules which adapted to the coal mining face according to the custom rules format on the basis of knowing the Jena framework,reasoning engine and three major coal regulations is formulated.The ontology semi-automatic construction and reasoning system is designed and realized to query and retrieve the implicit information of ontology model by reasoning.Based on the initial ontology model of coal mining face,the formal concept analysis technology is applied to the artificial ontology construction to overcome the shortcomings of this method and improve the automation of ontology construction.In this paper,the Jena inference engine is used combine with three coal regulations to reason the ontology model,which could find the unsafe factors effectively and take measures timely to ensure the safe production of coal mine.
