Because of a wide variety of raw materials and synthetic processes,coupled with the unique structure of polyurethane molecules,the polyurethane owns many excellent properties,such as wide hardness range,high strength and excellent low temperature and oil resistance,wear resistance,etc.So they have been widely used in all aspects of life.However,the polyurethane has many disadvantages,such as high internal heat,poor water resistance and weather resistance,which limit its application in certain circumstances,So the modification of polyurethane has got more and more concerned.In recent years,there have been some reports about the silicone modified polyurethane composite material,which has the advantages of the two kinds of materials compared with the single PU material,so they own very broad application.This research,focused on the casting polyurethane elastomer,studied the synthesis and performance of the modified polyurethane elastomer with different content of silicone glycol using the laboratory commonly used raw materials,which we hope that the results can be applied to the actual production to play aguiding role.The main contents are as follows:1.Silicone glycol modified polyether(PTMG)polyurethane elastomer.A series of different silicone glycol content of modified polyurethane elastomers((PU-Si-0?PU-Si-2?PU-Si-5?PU-Si-8?PU-Si-10)were synthesized with polytetramethylene glycol(PTMG),2,4-toluene diisocyanate(TDI)and3,3'-dichloro-4,4'-diaminodiphenyl methane(MOCA)as well as the chemical modifier-silicone glycol.The molecular structure was characterized by FTIR.The mechanical properties,thermal stability,water resistance,acid and alkali resistance and the surface micro phase of the polyurethane elastomers were respectively studied and analyzed by he stress-strain test,thermogravimetric analysis(TGA),differential scanning calorimetry(DSC),contact angle test(CA),scanning electron microscopy(SEM)analysis and dynamic mechanical properties(DMA).The results showed that the heat resistance,water resistance,acid and alkali resistance of polyurethane as well as the mechanical properties were improved,which were related to the microphase separation in the system.2.Silicone glycol modified polycaprolactone(PCL)polyurethane elastomer.The Polyurethane elastomers were prepared by polycaprolactone glycol(PCL)with other materials,methods and characterization no changed.The results show that the silicone glycol is successfully embedded in the polyurethane molecular chain,rather than a simple physical mixture.Similarly,the degree of microphase separation were increased with the addition of silicone glycol,which is the reason for the improvement of the thermal stability,mechanical properties and water resistance of the modified polyurethane.What was different with polyether polyurethane was that the loss factor(tan?)and loss modulus(E')decreased firstly and then increased with the increase of the content of silicone glycol.
