With the development of oilfields,water flooding process has gradually become the primary way of oilfield exploitation,which directly leads to the rise of moisture content of oil.Therefore,how to improve the efficiency of oil-water separation has been the problem we are facing.As the research subjects,the Gravity Settler used in the Oilfield is the prototype of the paper.With the help of FLUENT software,by changing the internal structures of Gravity Settler,we can find the factors which effect the oil-water separation of sedimentation and make the optimized selection.In the paper,the main research objects are the liquid distributor and oil trap which have effect on the oil-water separation.Firstly,use the GAMBIT software to model the Gravity Settler and divide reasonable grids,then choose the reasonable physical model.Turbulence model used in the article is RNG k-? and multiphase model is Mixture.With the assistance of FLUENT software,through changing the direction of the opening about the distributor holes and the height between the liquid distributors and the settler,aperture and the number of the liquid distributor holes,liquor area,the number as well as type of the liquid distributor,height and type of the oil trap,we can find the best way of configuring Gravity Settler.After the simulation,we find that there are many factors such as the direction of the openings,the types of the liquid distributor,the number and the diameter of distributor holes and the types of the oil trap have great effect on the efficiency of oil-water separation of Gravity Settler.And finally the best solution about the Gravity Settler is that the direction of the liquid distributors is downward,the height of liquid distributor is 6.3m,six liquid distributors,twelve liquid distributor holes,the aperture of distributor holes is DN600,opening under the distributors directly,annular oil trap and the height of oil trap is10.5m,the wide of oil trap is 200 mm. |
