Today the world's industrial countries have the capacity to reflect the country's economic capacity and defense capabilities of the country.At present,our country is the world of machine tool has the most-nearly 4 million units,it is as important as the indispensable equipment in manufacturing power,play an extremely important role is a machine tool play equipment manufacturing function proposed in recent years to "intelligent,miniaturized,flexible,high speed",makes the CNC machine tools in production,research and development,technology innovation and improvement has been the development of space,and "multi axis NC machine tool is the main trend of the development of CNC machine tools.In response to the state of manufacturing equipment proposed "multi axis" development needs,this paper intends to a group of FANUC 0I MD based on the transformation of vertical CNC machining center with three axes of an additional fourth axis function,first analyzes the principle and structure of machine tool,the internal drive and control system of CNC system,FSSB bus controller PMC machine system and then,make the transformation before the implementation of the whole theory;then the fourth axis of the hardware selection,PMC machine controller and system parameter modification statements written work completed one by one,and finally the transformation has been good for four axis machining center spline shaft the trial machining,through the processing accuracy of the spline shaft of machine tool rebuilding is qualified.In the four axis function additional transformation,using the original NC machine tool and system,give full play to the FANUC 0I MD system can be upgraded and expanded,by increasing the CNC dividing plate and the corresponding servo control system,the three axis machining center to achieve the four axis machine tool can not only increase the function of processing range.improve efficiency,save the manufacturing cost of enterprise,enhance the competitiveness of enterprises.
