| Electromagnetically induced transparency is the interference effect between the level three level atomic system that will make the original opaque substance in the region induces a sharp absorption frequency transparent window and with the effect of slow light and good frequency selectivity simultaneously.However,the electromagnetically induced transparency in three levels quantum system to achieve ultra low temperature and high intensity laser requires extremely harsh experimental conditions which bring difficulties to the research and application of EIT.and the use of electromagnetic metamaterials simulates the phenomena of electromagnetic induction is not required by the above restrictions.In order to distinguish it from electromagnetically induced transparency in three level quantum system,the electromagnetically induced transparency based on electromagnetic metamaterials or other methods is called electromagnetically induced transparency.Electromagnetically induced transparency and comparison of the atomic system,electromagnetic induced transparency does not need high intensity laser,and can be realized at room temperature,only need to adjust the size,shape,coupling distance unit resonance structure,it may regulate a specific class of electromagnetically induced transparent window.In addition,it is also a new method to study the electromagnetically induced transparency in the atomic system by using electromagnetic metamaterials.Electromagnetically induced absorption is a the physical characteristics of complementary by electromagnetically induced transparency in a certain extent.Electromagnetically induced absorption is between level Four level quantum system of constructive interference occurs which will make the original transparent material in the transmission frequency region induces a sharp absorption window.Electromagnetically induced absorption also requires harsh experimental conditions in electromagnetically induced transparency.Up to now,although there are few literatures about the simulation of electromagnetic induced absorption of metamaterials,waveguides and plasmon polaritons,most of them are not mature enough.Similarly,in order to distinguish the traditional electromagnetic induced absorption in the four level quantum system,the electromagnetic induction absorption,which is favorable for the simulation of metamaterials,is called the electromagnetic induction absorption.The work of this paper is mainly reflected in the following aspects:1.Electromagnetically induced absorption and electromagnetically induced transparency in a certain extent,the physical characteristics of complementary,is between level Four level quantumsystem of constructive interference as the open mode resonator and the five split resonator ring structure.Compared with the single split ring resonator,the five resonator of electromagnetically induced transparency like transmission peak is more obvious,this is because the five split ring resonator combination can effectively reduce the magnetic resonance quality factor,quality factor and larger difference is formed in electromagnetically induced transparent one of the necessary conditions.Finally,using material Rogers which low loss to manufacture sample for testing.On the whole,the experiment in good agreement with the simulation results although the results still exist some frequency shift,which make up the FR-4substrate in the high frequency part of the test effect is not ideal.3.The simulation of electromagnetic induced absorption is realized by the combination of single dipole and double dipole.The structure of single dipole electric field along the length direction of the incident electromagnetic wave,which will cause a strong resonance;and then through the double dipole coupling distance will be part of the energy transfer to the double dipole that causing two of similar size,but the opposite direction of weak electric resonances.The phase between the three resonant difference will occur in certain conditions caused by the constructive interference that leads to the phenomenon of electromagnetically induced absorption in the absorption spectrum of the emergence of a narrow resonance,and the absorption rate was more than 49%.At the same time,the design is not sensitive to the change of distance which can become application value in the manufacture of slow light devices. |
